My sister and I moved from one apartment about a year ago where we couldn't get reception with our cell phones. We started looking for a cheap phone for the apartment and found voip.com. We've had the service for about 8 months now and have no complaints. During the first week we heard a echo, but called tech support and we got it fixed.

My husband and I travel a ton and started taking our voip.com service with us. We use it to call home for free when we are on the road (3 weeks of every month!) to our 2 sons. I think they liked it more when we couldn't call so much. I love voip.com and would recommend them especially if you travel as much as we do :))))

I spent hours on the phone with these guys and never got my phone to work. They never could figure out what the problem was. What a nightmare. I sent it back and got my refund. I never actually used the service so I won't give them 1 star. No way I'm giving them 5 stars like the rest of you!

I use the phone while I swim and call all my whale friends far away in other oceans. I love to call them. Ok, I'm not a whale...I lied. But I do love to use this company for one reason -------they are cheap! It sounds just like my old phone...and I can call the female whales as much as I want. hehehe. I'm lauging at myself as I type this. I think it is good to be able to entertain yourself. amen

I just paid for my second year of phone service with voip.com. The first year was fantastico. I did have some problems in the start. I have a cable connection that goes from my cable modem to a wireless router, and then to 5 different computers on my home network. I had my adapter plugged into my router instead of my cable modem like the instructions say to do. I couldn't get it to work when it was plugged into my router but it would work fine plugged into my cable modem??? I called voip.com tech support and the guy was able to walk me through the process of 'opening' the ports on my Dlink router so that it would allow phone calls to go through. Everything works great now. Other then that problem everything is awsome. The quality is identical to what I have always paid double for in the past. The company seems to be really on top of things. I learned they are based out of Florida. Since signing up I have signed up 3 friends and my brother...so yes I do recommend them.

I have a 8ms connection through Comcast that I use at home. I signed up for voip.com through another website and got my adapter a few days later. The setup process was easy and everything worked like it said it would. Now I'm paying less then $20 a month for unlimited calling. I saw a commercial for a company called magic jack late one night and was about to order that as a replacement, but decided not to because of all the bad reviews I read. I need a reliable service as I place a lot of business calls from my home. Voip.com has been great. I would recommend their service.

After much time researching different voip providers I decided to go with this company. I'm happy to report that I made the right decision. It is everything I hoped it would be. The calls sound great and I love to be able to listen to and store my voicemails in my email.

I've been using voip.com for the last few months to replace my home phone and love all the features. I had a little trouble in the start, but got it fixed after a 10min call to voip.com. If you call ask for Charles. He was very nice and made sure everything was working before I got off the phone with him. He even emailed me a week later to check up.
